One of the first critters we discovered is a cute octopus who enjoyed itself around the rocky and shallow wateres. Here it is typically seen at its favourite spot- the Lighthouse Divesite which consists of a long wall that is acompanied with small corals - where the snacks are plenty, and friendly divers are passing by for their decompression stop.
With excellent equipment and two boats, this dive shop easily takes groups and individuals out to dive several times a day.
Diving Pula is a family-run business in the second generation; here, you get to dive with friendly and thoughtful instructors who happily share their know-how.
On our dives, the guides pointed out seahorses, an octopus and many more aquatic highlights.
After a great day with Jagoda and her Brother out on the sea, we went for several more and to various dive sites.

📍Diving Pula is situated between Pjescana Uvala Beach and Marina Veruda in Pula/Croatia. Pula Centre is just a short drive away and easily reachable by bus. The beaches are beautiful and peaceful, but they can get super crowded during the high season (which is usually from late April till the end of September). During that time, I treated myself to the next adventure, which was travelling to a lake in the heart of Bosnia. Read more about it here.
Here at Diving Pula, I was reminded of how small the world is, how well sports connect people, and that no distance is too far for a motivated diver to visit and explore extraordinary water worlds.
After staying near Pula for a while, I explored Bosnia with a unique destination in mind - a lake that used to be a coal mine and now is a divers Shangrila; located in the heart of Bosnia. After weeks of touring, I came back to Diving Pula for a last saltwater dive before heading home.
Guess whom I ran into? I met newly made friends from a Sarajevo Dive Club who kindly lent me their diving equipment a few days earlier so I could explore the beautiful Bosnian Jezero Sicki Brod Lake.
