The Huangshi Village in Zhangjiajie National Park - Hunan Region
Huangshi Village on top of the Mountains
The view from Huangshi Village is what I have in mind when asked about the one-of-a-kind - magical panorama. For everybody who is not an early bird, I suggest staying in the Mountain Village for "the golden hour pictures" at Sunrise. The accommodations are pretty basic accommodation- Hostel style, not bookable in advance. It's a piece of good advice to hike up the long mountain path with crossed fingers and hopes they still have a spot available.
A small and windy road connects the village with Zhangjiajie town; it is a bit pricy to hire a driver, but way better than walking back into town with tired feet and a heavy backpack ;)
