The Stag Beatle or Hirschkäfer in the German language translates to Deer Beatle - named that way due to his giant antlers, which remind of a deer's antlers. He is one of the biggest and most impressive ones in the Beatle family. Back in the Roman Empire, its larva was considered a delicacy. Luckily, nowadays, the Stage Beatle is a protected species.
The Micro collection is a nature-inspired series focusing on the phenomenal wildlife. The purpose of this series is to remind us of those creatures that are living in a rapidly decreasing habitat and that we, every new day, are creating our future.
