The Safari Bar is located at the very peak of Kap Kamenjak.

This sweet hidden gem is located in the middle of a wonderful nature park in Prementura and is THE spot to take a break from riding a bicycle on a sunny day over the rocky roads along the coast.

While staying at gorgeous Pješčana Uvalain Pula right next to the beach to relax and dive for a couple of days, I took the bus for a 15-minute ride, which cost 2€ to the Premantura centre.

From here, I enjoyed a good breakfast and walked over to the mountain bike rental (for more info on where to rent a bike from and more adventures at Prementura Nature Park, click here)

Check out this place to rent a mountain bike or e-bike or hop on one of the daily e-bike group tours. I was absolutely blessed with the bike rental, and the staff gave me plenty of recommendations and information about the tour and which route to take.

About the Route and Park:

The park's trails are a bit of everything, so you will definitely find your preferred kind of biking/hiking terrain here.

You can enter the park on foot, by bicycle, motorbike, car, camper, or boat - the entrance is free by foot, bike, and boat. The other prices vary between the low and high season. For a detailed price list and park information in general, please follow the link here.

At the entrance, you will be provided with a map that looks something like this one.

The Dinosaur Track begins the tour and takes about 60 minutes on foot.

Following the Dinosaur Pass by mountain bike is the first rocky bit of road, but it is much fun.

The road takes you along the coastline, offering stunning views and crystal-clear water down to the very peak of Kap Kamenjak, where you will find the Safari Bar.

The Safari Bar is built into a little jungle of corn plants, which provide shade and contribute to a pleasant climate even on hot days. The seating is made from wood and looks self-made; a significant slide runs in the middle of the winding restaurant, swings, and a slackline round up the entire place that's built like a labyrinth into the greenery, which lies 50 m above the sea. This little hidden gem is popular with tourists and locals and is easily reachable by all sorts of vehicles and on foot.

A cave is right down from the Restaurant, and of course, jumping off the cliff is the recommended pre-dinner activity :)

Furthermore, the homemade ice tea and veggie salad were delicious, the neighbouring table had fish that looked amazing, and sangria is the recommended drink if you ask the staff.

Cheers to that!!!
